Been here twice in last 2 years. Both times same , food was ok, portions rather small for price, service speed was too fast, borderline rushed , in and out in hour flat, the real disappointment was being charged for waters, wife and I each had water, one son had a lemonade, other had water, beverage total was $11, then if that wasn't bad enough, both boys had chicken nuggets, 6 quarter size nuggets on each plate without a side, $31 for both, we paid without scene and left a tip but won't be returning. I'd say they should be ashamed to do business this way if expecting return business, but then not being American, this type of greed is likely expected as normal from foreign owners. If you plan to bring kids beware

Today April 30th was there for my birthday, for lunch.there food is awesome.,and are cook made it well but he sucked on entertainment, never said his name he was quiet young I always go for Japanese on my birthday,mostly for entertainment,and there was absolutely none, like they do the volcano,or egg in hat or choo choo train,so that was disappointing we had a dud. I rather sit with the kids at least they get entertained.but maybe they do not do much at lunch and I for one enjoy going there for my birthday,to celebrate but there was no celebration.my daughter did get me a cake we got it and took it home, so thank you to her, Like I said food was Excellent but go back to entertaining that is what I enjoy.😉

I always have a great experience at Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse! The manager was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, especially with our children, which I really appreciated. It made the whole experience feel welcoming and stress-free. The chef was also amazing—great energy, engaging, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, and you can really tell they take pride in what they do. This is hands down my favorite hibachi spot in Charlotte. Even though it’s the farthest location from my house, I’ll gladly make the drive every time because they truly have the best hibachi in town. Highly recommend!

So I hadn't been here in a while so I don't know how long this special has been going on...but Mon-Wed they do a hibachi special for 21.99! You get your protein 3 sides and a drink. Now I love a good show for food but when I'm hungry I just want to eat all my food at the same time. So usually we just sit in the bar area or the tables near it. It's faster to me..service is quick and I get all my food! Everything was so delicious 😋 you can expect to see me back here every other monday!

My whole experience was excellent. I highly recommend going here. In fact it's a must for my friend and I. We go every week. They have this amazing all inclusive lunch special. Wed thru Fri or maybe it's Tues thru Fri from 11:30-2:00 and it's at this location, not sure of any others. The server Diana was swift and friendly the chef Theo was fun, efficient, and so caring that he made sure my friend had ZERO contact with my shrimp-it was cooked completely last-wasn't even put on the grill till he finished fully with his order!! Now that is great service. I look forward to coming here. Thank you Kabuto for being an additional highlight to my week! We'll be back next week 😊🍽️
